The Pink Robin makes its home in the cool temperate forests of south-eastern Australia. It is one of the 49 Australasian robins. Both sexes have a black bill, brown eyes and legs. The male has a white spot on his forehead, bright pink breast, grey wings, rump and back, while the female's plumage is grey-brown. They build their nest in the fork of a tree about five meters above the ground using moss, spider webs, feathers, and fur.
